摘要

•PJP usually occurs within 1 year after RT.•Fever, dry cough, and progressive dyspnea are the most common clinical symptoms of PJP.•PJP should be highly suspected if the patient has clinical symptoms and diffuse, patchy, ground-glass opacities on CT at both lungs after RT within 1 year.•Metagenomic next-generation sequencing is helpful for early diagnosis of PJP.
