摘要

•V-4Cr-4Ti/316SS dissimilar metal laser welding was carried out by inserting Cu interlayer.•The intermetallics was successfully controlled, the microstructure of the weld was analyzed.•The Vickers hardness and tensile properties of the welded joint were tested.
