摘要

•POSS-AuNP nanocomposite colloids were synthesized by laser ablation in ethanol.•POSS polymer presence improved the colloids stability and reproducibility.•A plasmonic absorption band in the visible region was observed in the colloids.•The nanocomposite exhibits low cytotoxicity in human gingival fibroblasts.•These nanocomposites show viability to be used for biosensors based on LSPR.
