Abstract
-Hypertriglyceridemia is an uncommon cause of acute pancreatitis.-Seasonal variation seems to play a role in the onset of recurrent hypertriglyceridemia-induced acute pancreatitis.-It can be prevented and treated with insulin, heparin, and glucose infusions.-This report aims to present a unique case of recurrent seasonal severe HTG-AP treated with insulin and heparin.
