摘要
•This study showed a relatively high experience of self-harm in school-children.•The prevalence of reported self-harm was 26.9% among eighth-grade school children.•Self-harm as a result of dentofacial features was seen in around half of subjects.•Self-harm because of bullying was reported by 21.8% of subjects reporting self-harm.•Tooth color and shape were the most common dentofacial features related to self-harm.
