Association of objectively measured daily physical activity and health utility to disease severity in chronic heart failure patients: A cross-sectional study

•A significant difference was observed in BNP levels between the NYHA functional classes.•Daily physical activity (PA) and health utility (HU) were significantly related to disease severity in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF).•PA and HU may provide important information on the severity of disease in patients with CHF.•The PA levels determined could be used by clinicians or patients as minimum target values based on disease severity in patients with CHF.
