Workflow in open-source software for computed tomography analysis: technical note

The aim of this study is to describe a new alignment protocol for computed tomographic (CT) scans performed at different time points to standardise the imaging assessment of the same region of interest (ROI). This protocol may have potential applications in maxillofacial traumatology, orthognathic surgery, oncology, and other specialties.
