Abstract
•Pedestrian injuries from collisions with cycles increased between 2005 and 2015.•They remain a small proportion of all pedestrian injuries.•The increase was disproportionate to the increase in miles and hours cycled.•Older pedestrians appeared to be at relatively higher risk.•Cycling infrastructure must protect both cyclists and pedestrians.
