Exercise-induced pulmonary hypertension in HFpEF and HFrEF: Different pathophysiologic mechanism behind similar functional impairment

We matched HFrEF and HFpEF cohorts for demographic and functional characteristics, observing a similar degree of exercise-induced pulmonary hypertension despite peculiar features. Different systemic and cardiopulmonary mechanisms may lead to the same grade of impairment.
