Abstract
Introduction: Odontoid fracture stabilization through an anterior endonasal endoscopy-assisted approach (EEA) could represent a less invasive alternative to the traditional surgical procedure in case of type II Anderson-D’Alonzo C2 fractures with radiological evidence of pseudoarthrosis. In fact, in case of non-healed odontoid fractures, especially in the elderly people, the anterior screw fixation could often fail. We report our experience on the use of EEA in the treatment of this kind of fractures.
