Facile growth of hierarchical SnO2@PPy composites on carbon cloth as all-solid-state flexible supercapacitors

•The SnO2@PPy composites were grown on CC by a solvothermal method and subsequent chemical oxidative polymerization process.•A series of composites with various loading amount of PPy were synthesized and the electrochemical properties were studied.•The SnO2@PPy/CC electrode exhibited excellent electrochemical performances and flexibility.
