Blockchain-based automated and robust cyber security management

•CSM allows to examine if a network has been compromised and to what extent.•A fine-grained ledger structure in Fabric handles large amount of cyber data.•Fabric client object creation mainly causes the response latency, but it is one-time.•Response latency also relies on the chaincode execution of specific CSM functions.•A set of extensions is listed to inspire more studies on the blockchain-based CSM.
