Abstract
New energy equipment such as photovoltaic inverters, electric vehicle charging piles, and energy storage converters all contain DC/CD chopper converters. Traditional power electronic mathematical models, such as switch models and small-signal average models, only contain a unique time scale. This paper analyzes and establishes a dual time-scale model of a DC/DC chopper converter, Compared with the traditional model, the proposed model can simplify the reduced-order differential equation, making the calculation method more convenient, and the output value is closer to the theoretical value than the traditional model, which is easier to be used in simulation or control rule design, with higher control accuracy and increased engineering reliability, This has certain value for practical engineering application research. Finally, the simulation model and experimental platform of the DC/DC chopper converter are built, and the experimental results verify the correctness of the proposed modeling method.
