Natural-based micro and nanoscale composites

Multicomponent solid catalysts in the macro and nanoscale, according to natural-based materials, are essential and valuable for being in accordance with the principle of green and sustainable chemistry. Natural-based micro and nanoscale composites could have a wide range of applications, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, due to their antimicrobial activity, biocompatibility, and biodegradability. Green catalysts are a class of material made from natural materials (especially biopolymers) and inorganic solids. Bionanocomposite has excellent potential for catalyzing an organic reaction in a simple way and in high performance as well as avoiding the use of a toxic reagent, harsh and hazardous reaction conditions, and waste-free procedure.
