Heterostructured perylene diimide (PDI) supramolecular nanorods with SnO2 quantum dots for enhanced visible‐light photocatalytic activity and stability

摘要
Highly enhanced visible-light photocatalytic performance and stability was achieved through heterostructured perylene diimide (PDI) supramolecular nanorods with SnO2 QDs. Strong evidence from the KPFM and ISI-XPS characterizations revealed efficient interfacial electron transfer driven by a giant built-in electric field across this hetero-interface. In addition, formation of heterojunction effectively hindered the formation of PDI.− through exporting electrons to SnO2 QDs quickly, thereby improving the stability.
