Evaluation of remedial intervention with Mastery Learning approach for dyslexic children

This work is an evaluation of a remedial intervention to reduce dyslexia in children, the intervention has an approach of mastery content, which is an intensive approach where complete every task is mandatory before to pass the next activity, and has a computer support to show and evaluate practices and keep record of every practice. puting first the mastery of content over the time needed to do it, because in general the remedial interventions’ results are positive but mostly modest results. Actually, research about remedial interventions on dyslexic people cannot get a full identification of factors with more influence to reduce dyslexia, this scenario suggest that benefits of interventions could be because of another factors or the accumulated effects of all factors. This work has introduction part, backgrounds, table of letter showing its confusion factor, methodology and interface used in the recognition practices.
