Abstract
•The O-gC3N4/SnO2 composite was prepared by hydrothermal and coprecipitation method.•RhB and Cr6+ was decomposed and reduced by O-g-C3N4/SnO2 within short times.•The e- and h+ were the main active species for photocatalytic process.•Excellent properties due to formation heterojunction and special surface structure.
