Abstract
Abstract Measurements of deuteron inelastic scattering have been made for 14 N. The result for the 2.31 MeV (0 + , T =1) state is well accounted for by isospin mixing due to the Coulomb interaction in the intermediate pickup and stripping channels. The particle transfer processes play an important role also in the excitation of the 3.95 MeV (1 + , T =0) state.
