Peripheral production and decay of K/sup 0//sub S/K/sup 0//sub S/ in the reaction. pi. /sup -/p. -->. K/sup 0//sub S/K/sup 0//sub S/+neutralsat 15. 4 GeV/c

We report on a moment analysis of the angular distribution of ${K}_{S}{K}_{S}$ peripherally produced in the reaction ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}{K}_{S}+(n or {\ensuremath{\Delta}}^{0})$ at 15.4 GeV/c. The data suggest the possible presence of a small, resonating, spin-$4{K}_{S}{K}_{S}$ partial wave in the ${K}_{S}{K}_{S}$ mass region 1.9 to 2.0 GeV/${\mathit{c}}^{2}$.
