Abstract
The patient was 27-year-old female with neurofibromatosis. She developed a malignant schwannoma on the left femoral area 4 months previously, which was treated with disarticulation of left hip joint. Serum levels of neuron specific enolase, which was elevated, became within normal limits after the operation. She has been free of disease in a one year follow up. Tumor histopathology showed the osteoid, chondroid and musuclar ifferentiation.
