A New Version of the KMDB/Mutation View

We previously developed the KMDB for mutation data in human disease-causing genes using a database software called MutationView which was designed to serve as a distributed database system [1, 2]. The previous KMDB contained 6 sub-databases including KMeyeDB, KMheartDB, KMbrainDB, KMearDB, KMaiDB and KMcancerDB. Here, we report a more advanced version of KMDB (v.1.2) which now includes 3 additional sub-databases such as KMsyndromeDB, KMmuscleDB and KMbloodDB with substantial increase of genes and mutations.
