Curative Effects of Yimudingtong Granules on Dysmenorrhea Models in Animals

Objective To observe the therapy effects of Yimudingtong granules on dysmenorrhea models in animals. Methods Yimudingtong granules was administered to mice and rat through stomach and rabbits through duodenum. Results Yimudingtong granules had markedly therapy effects on the dysmenorrhea models made in mice and rats by diethylstilbestrol and oxytocin or PGF (2α). It could also markedly decrease the amplitude, frequency and activity of rabbit uterus in normal and stimulated by oxytocin in vivo. Conclusions Yimudingtong granules had a good curative effect on animal dysmenorrhea models.
