Bilateral Filter for Small-Angle Ultrasonic Tomography Using Linear Arrays

The article describes small-angle ultrasonic tomography using linear arrays. A bilateral filter is used to improve the quality of the tomogram image reconstruction. The use of a window on the model is studied and tested on the experimental data. The results of modeling for one reflector located in the testing zone are presented. The resolution of a system consisting of receiving and radiating linear arrays with 16 elements is determined.
