摘要
Objective To discuss nursing features of senile patients with advanced gastrointestinal carcinoma who are on postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy. Methods 178 senile patients (60 years old) with advanced gastrointestinal carcinoma were treated with intraperitoneal chemotherapy after radical operation. We observed tolerance of the patients, peritoneal metastasis and hepatic metastasis. The 1-,2-,3-and 5-year survival rates were analyzed. At the same time, we compared them with the intravenous chemotherapy group. Results 92.7% patients completed the 6 phases of chemotherapy, while only 68.5% patients on intravenous chemotherapy completed the 6 phases of chemotherapy. The peritoneal metastasis rate (7 9%) and the hepatic metastases rate (9.6%) were much lower in intraperitoneal chemotherapy patients than those in intravenous chemotherapy patients (16.5%, 21.2%;P0.05). The 2-year survival rate (78.8%),3-year survival rate (72.7%) and 5-year survival rate (66.7%) were much higher than those of intravenous chemotherapy patients (58.8%,52.9%,47.1%;P0.05).Conclusion Senile patients with advanced gastrointestinal carcinoma who were on intraperitoneal chemotherapy had fewer adverse reactions, lower rates of peritoneal and hepatic metastases, and a higher 5-year survival rate.
