Abstract
Posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) is a bio-psychosocial dysfunction that arises following exposure to traumatic events(combat,traffic accident,natural disaster,etc).At present,the diagnosis of PTSD is mainly based on clinical material.With the advances of magnetic resonance technology,studies can be done in vivo about brain morphology and function.This article reviews the application of MRI volume measurement and ~1H-MRS in PTSD.
