Seretide accuhaler combined with BiPAP on the stable COPD patients

Objective To investigate the treatment effect of seretide accuhaler(mixture preparation of long.acting β_2 adrenergic receptor atagonist and inhaled corticosteroid) combined with BiPAP on COPD patients at stable stage.Methods Fifty-two COPD patients at stable stage were treated with seretide accuhaler TM 50/250 by accuhaler/diskus,2 times per day,and BiPAP(IPAP 10~20cm H_2O,EPAP 3~6cm H_2O,FiO_2 3L/min)6~8h every night.After 12 weeks,clinical symptoms,quality of life and lung functions were evaluated respectively before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the observed indexes were significant improved(P0.05).Conclusion Treatment with seretide accuhaler combined with BiPAP in COPD can improve clinical symptoms and quality of life.It has certain value of clinical application,and it can step down the decrease of lung function in COPD patients.
