A Study on Cystathionine Beta-synthase Gene 844ins68 in Shui People of Sandu,and Miao People of Xijiang,Guizhou Province

Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the distribution of cystathionine beta-synthase(CBS) gene ins68 among the Shui people in Sandu,and among Miao people in Xijiang,Guizhou Province,and to obtain the population genetic data of CBS ins68 polymorphism.Method: PCR and electrophoresis of agarose gel were used to detect 844ins68 polymorphism of CBS.Results: No insert mutation of 68bp was found in both Shui people of Sandu,and Miao people of Xijiang,Guizhou Province.Conclusion: The distribution of CBS ins68 polymorphism varies among populations.
