Research on Electromagnetic Characteristics of Linear Synchronous Motor for High-Speed Maglev Train Based on Field-Circuit Coupling

As a new type of non-contact transportation mode, high-speed maglev train is mainly used to solve people's demand for fast travel. Linear synchronous motor is the key structure to realize the drive and levitation of maglev train, and its performance determines whether the train can run smoothly and safely. Firstly, the field-circuit coupling model of long stator linear synchronous motor with the maximum operating speed of 600km/h is established based on finite element method, and the electromagnetic characteristic is analyzed. The simulation results of the traction force are compared with the test data of the prototype, which verified the correctness of the calculation model. Secondly, the influence of the relative position of stator and mover and the different operating speed on the traction and levitation characteristics is investigated. Finally, the output parameters of linear motor under inverter fault conditions are calculated, which shows the influence of different types of fault on traction and levitation force.
