Abstract
Bemisia tabaci(Gennadius) is an important pest on crops in Shandong province, during 2006-2007,the geographical distribution of B.tabaci in 11 areas and population dynamics in partial regions have been investigated. The results showed that B.tabaci has distributed in most areas of Shandong province and the population density was characterized with regional disequilibrium. The population density was relatively high in Shouguang of Weifang,Linyi of Dezhou and Gaotang of Liaocheng, and relatively low in Licheng of Jinan,Yinan and Pingyi of Linyi. The influential factors of the population dynamics and the reason of local population decline were discussed.
