Analysis of superior mesenteric artery arteriographic images in elderly patients with coronary artery disease

Objective To make further cognition of coronary artery disease companied with mesenteric ischemia and perfect the layout of prevention and cure of coronary artery disease patients.Methods The superior mesenteric angiographic images were analyzed the relationship of the ages and the degree of coronary artery disease with superior mesenteric artery in 36 elderly patients and 31 young patients with coronary artery disease.Results There were 19(52.8%) and 3(9.7%) patients accomplicated with superior mesenteric arterial lesions,24(66.7%) and 7(22.6%) patients with multivessel disease in elderly and young patients respectively(P0.05).Conclusion The age is closely positively associated with superior mesenteric arterial lesions in coronary artery disease patients.
