Simulink-based simulation of the hydraulic load-simulating system for billet shearing machines

The hydraulic cushion cylinder is similar to the billet shearing machine in terms of load characteristics.A hydraulic load-simulating system with a cushion cylinder is designed to simulate the load characteristics of billet shearing machines.Dynamic equations of the system are established.Modeling and dynamic simulation are carried out with Matlab/Simulink software.The simulation results show that the load characteristics of billet shearing machines can be simulated accurately by this system.The effects of parameters on system catachresis are also studied in the simulation.
