Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction on serum lipid,hemorheology and homocysteine in rabbits with atherosclerosis

Objective:To investigate the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction on serum lipid,hemorheology and homocysteine(Hcy) in rabbits with atherosclerosis. Methods:Rabbits were randomly divided into four groups:control group,model group,Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction group and Xuezhikang group. The above indexes of rabbits were determined after ten weeks. Results:The serum lipid index in Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction group was obvious difference from that of the model group(P 0.01) . The hemorheology and homocysteine index in Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction group were obviously lower than those in the model group(P 0.01 或 P 0.05) . Conclusion:Yiqi Huoxue Jiedu decoction had good therapeutical effect by accommodating the level of serum lipid and improving of hemorheology and homocysteine in rabbits with atherosclerosis.
