Analyzing and identifying Inter-salt Non-sandstone Reservoirs of Qianjiang Formation in Qianjiang Depression of Jianghan Basin

Affected by both chemical and mechanical sedimentary action,the inter-salt non-sandstone reservoirs of Qianjiang Formation in Qianjiang Depression of Jianghan Basin have complicated lithology and therefore it is hard to identify them by naked eyes.This paper,having analyzed the particularities of the inter-salt non-sandstone reservoirs,proposes a special method for analyzing these reservoirs,clearly recognizes that the inter-salt non-sandstone reservoirs are mostly composed of muddy carbonate rock and carbonate mudstone,as well as mixed rocks secondarily.Combined with log response,it can be identified efficiently by gamma ray logging curve,neutron logging curve and density logging curve.
