The Prevention Role of Injecting Defibrase into Thorax in Pleural Thickness and Adhesion in Tuberculous Pleurisy

Objective:To investigate the prevention role of injecting into thorax defibrase in the developing of pleural thickness and adhesion.Methods:71 cases of tuberculous pleurisy were randomly divided into two groups:the therapy group and the con- trol group.The therapy group were injected defibrase into thorax after thoracentesis,in acldition to the standard therapies for tuberculosis,which were similar to those of the control group.The pleural thickness,the incidence of rate of pleural adhesion, the volume of eduction of pleural effusions and the blood coagulated index were observed.Results:The pleural thickness of the therapy group was(1.15±0.16)mm,whereas the control group was(1.67±0.17)mm,there was significant difference be- tween the two groups (t=2.26,P＜＜0.05).The incidence rate of pleural adhesion was 48.6% in the control groups,17.6% in the therapy group,there was significant difference between the two groups(X~2=7.61,P＜0.01).The volume of eduction of pleural effusions was (1736±151)ml in the control group,(1923±146)ml in the therapy group,there was no significant difference between the two groups(t=0.89,P＞0.05).The fibrinogen of pleural effusions in the control group was (5.8±0.8) g/L,the therapy group was (3.4±0.5) g/L,there was significant difference between the two groups(t=2.55,P＜0.05),but the other blood coagulated index was no significantly different.Conclusion..Injecting the defibrase into thorax can reduce the fibrin- ogen concentration of pleural effusions,alleviate the degree of pleural thickness and decrease the incidence rate of pleural adhesion.
