Analysis of Diagnosis and Treatment of 160 Cases of Cerebral Palsy

Objective:To provide the reference foundation for early treatment of CP through the study on clinical manifestation,classification,Hyperkinetic Disorder of 160 cases of infantile CP patients and the analysis of seroconversion rate on whether to conduct the early diagnoses and comprehensive rehabilitation treatment.Methods:To conduct the research through diagnosing 298 CP infantile patients between Sep.2003 and Dec.2006,among which there were 138,unfulfilled diagnoses because of economic conditions,genders,ages and other factors and the remaining 160 patients have been enrolled in the CP rehabilitation center of our hospital.Through the clinical check of nervous system,appraisal of auxe as well as the analyses on their records of critical illness,clinical classification and the unmoral symptoms of Hyperkinetic Disorder,they received 3～6 months hospital comprehensive treatment.Results:The effective rate is 100% among 72 cases of the infantile patients between 2～6 months;95.83% among 48 cases of those between 7～12 months;90.63% among 32 of those between 1～3 years;and 75% among 8 of those elder than 3 years.The main reasons leading to the critical illness lay on the premature delivery,suffocation,intractanial hemorrhage and severe jaundice.Among the 160 cases,56 patients had pure movement disorder,accounting for 35%,104 had two or more than two kinds of disorders,accounting for 65%.Conclusion:The better treatment was based on early discovery,diagnosis and interference,regularly hospitalyed with comprehensive treatment and family rehabilitation training.
