Abstract
Objective To analyze the methods of prenatal sonographic diagnosis for all kinds of aortic arch anomalies and improve prenatal sonographic detection rate of aortic arch anomalies. Methods A total of 73 fetuses with congenital aortic arch anomalies were studied. The results from prenatal and postnatal ultrasound examination were compared with the health, natal ultrasound examination results.ResultsThe 73 cases had congenital aortic arch anomalies, including 33 cases with malposition of aortic arch,9 cases with normal left aortic arch and aberrant left subclavian artery,5 cases with interruption of aortic arch,26 cases with coarctation of aortic arch. The accuracy rate of prenatal sonographic diagnosis of congenital aortic arch anomalies was 86.36%.Conclusions All kinds of aortic arch anomalies have typical sonographic image. We could make accurate diagnosis with grasped typical sonographic images. But coarctation of aortic arch was poorly diagonosesed by prenatal ultrasound examination, because it was very difficult to distinguish from interrupion of aortic arch by ultrasound.
