Simultaneous Determination of Brucine,Strychnine and Salvianolic Acid B in Biqi Capsule by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

To develop a method for the determination of brucine,strychnine and salvianolic acid B in Biqi capsule,a Inertsil ODS-3(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)column was used with acetonitrile and 10 mmol/L Sodium 1-hexanesulfonate phosphate-buffered saline(pH 2.86)(22∶78,v/v) as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min ; the detective wave was 254 nm and the column temperature was set at 25 ℃. The calibration curves of brucine,strychnine and salvianolic acid B were good in the ranges of 2.7-32 mg/L(r=0.9998),2.6-31 mg/L(r=0.9999),13-151 mg/L (r=0.9991),and the recoveries(n=6) were 99.3%,95.6% and 98.9% with RSD of 2.30%,3.68% and 1.82%,respectively. The method is simple,rapid,reliable and can be used for the drug quality control.
