Clinical analysis of 53 cases with borderline ovarian tumors

Objective To study the clinical characteristics,therapy and prognosis of borderline ovarian tumors(BOTs).Methods Fifty-three cases with BOTs were studied retrospectively.Results All patients underwent surgery as the initial treatment,of which 20 cases underwent conservative surgery,and 33 cases underwent radical surgery.The recurrence rate was 3.77%.Conclusion The prognosis of patients with BOTs is good.Surgery is the main therapy for treating BOTs.Conservative surgery can be performed to young patients without procreation.
