Mini-invasive surgical treatment of outlet obstructive constipation

Objective To explore the clinical applications and effects of mini-invasive surgery to treat outlet obstructive constipation.Methods Forty patients with puborectalis syndrome(PRS) were treated by mini-invasive surgery,compared with another 40 patients treated by common surgery.Results There was no significant difference of pain level and recurrence rate between two groups(p 0.05).But there was a remarkable statistic difference of lasting time of pain,healing time of the wound and average area of scar between two groups(p 0.05).It suggested that clinical sign of treatment group is better than control group.Conclusions Mini-invasive surgery is a safe and effective method to treat outlet obstructive constipation.
