The Role of Microbes in the Denitrification Process of Maliaohe Constructed Wetland

This research have monitored nitrifying/dentrification capacity on oxidation pond,subsurface flow wtland(SFS)and surface flow wetland(FWS)of Maliaohe constructed wetland.The relationship between nitrifying/dentrification capacity and the number of microbes and the denitrification efficiency were studied.The result shows that the concentration of N pollutant descends from class Ⅴ to class Ⅳ;the constructed wetland can undertake nitrification and denitrification at the same time;the SFS and FWS have better nitrifying/dentrification capacity and the measured nitrification/denitrification intensity changes in accordance with the number of microbes and water quality.
