Abstract
The liquid fermentation medium of culture of Candida utilis with high DCW was optimized.Results showed that glucose and peptone were the optimum carbon and nitrogen sources,respectively.By orthogonal tests,the optimum fermentation medium were determined as follows:glucose 40 g/L,peptone 10 g/L,KH2PO4 2 g/L,and MgSO4·7H2O 0.3 g/L,under which the maximum DCW of C.utilis A3 reached 6.37 g/L.
