Distribution of pathogenic bacteria and analysis of resistance in our hospital checking species from 2008 to 2010

Objective To study the distribution of pathogenic bacteria and the resistance,aimed to provide the reference for the clinical anti-infection treatment. Methods Using semi-automatic microbe/drug susceptibility analyzer,to isolate the strains from clinical samples and to analyze the resistance of them from 2008 to 2010. Results Nearly three years gram-negative bacteria,gram-positive bacteria and fungi were showed a rising trend.Gram-negative bacterium has been detected respectively for 3 538,4 413 and 5 755 strains;gram-positive respectively for 1 572,1 740 and 2058 strains;fungi respectively for 1 121,1 173 and 1 333 strains.Gram-negative bacterium was highly sensitive to imipenem,cefoperazone sulbactam and piperacillin-tazobactam,the main gram-positive bacterium was sensitive to nitrofurantoin,vancomycin and linezolid.Enterococcus faecalis were highly sensitive to penicillins drugs. Conclusion It is instructive of clinical rational antimicrobial application to pay attention to the distribution and drug resistance of common pathogens.
