Abstract
Tests for stable combustion of blast-furnace gas were carried out for the conventional impellerless burner and the bellmouth impellerless burners with different semi-conical angles.The principle of stable inginition,quenching phenomenon and flame-out characteristic of blast-furnace gas were analyzed.Results show that the impellerless burner with small inner diameter has strong quenching effect,and the type of burner has great effect on the flame-out limit of the blast-furnace gas.The flame-out limit of bellmouth impellerless burner is higher than that of the conventional impellerless burner.
