Abstract
Objective To investigate the apoptosis in the regions of hippocampal and thalamencephalon by using an impacting model of ventricular fluid.Methods The pathophysiological changes after varies power of impacting were measured.After HE and TUNEL stained,the changes in the regions of hippocampal and thalamencephalon were obsevered under light microscope.Results The mortality,the physiological responses and the recovery times after imact were significantly different in each injury group.Necrosis could be found in the regions of hippocampal and thalamencephalon after HE stained.TUNEL staining showed the apoptosis in the regions of hippocampal and thalamencephalon.Conclusion The ventricular fluid which have obtained some power in the process of cerebral trauma can damage the periventricular structure and produce a series of pathophysiological changes.
