Influence of monocyte chemoattactant protein-1 gene polymorphism on susceptibility of spinal tuberculosis
The Orthopedic Journal of China(2012)
摘要
[Objective]To investigate the association between monocyte chemoattactant protein-1(MCP-1) gene polymorphism and the susceptibility to spinal tuberculosis in Han people of Hunan province. [Methods]Totally 166 patients with spinal tuberculosis(case group) and 200 healthy volunteers(control group) were recruited in our hospital from December 2007 to December 2010.The MCP-1-362 genotype were detected by polymerase chain reaction and sanger DNA sequencing technology. [Results]The genotype frequencies of GG,GC,CC were 18.1%,42.8%,39.2% in case group, and 25.5%,48.0%,26.5% in control group. There were significant differences between two groups(P0.05).The MCP-1-362 CC genotype were overexpressed in case group, the odds ratio was 1.478(95% CI: 1.096-1.992). [Conclusion]The MCP-1-362 CC genotype might be associated with susceptibility to spinal tuberculosis in Han people of Hunan province.
