Clinical study on racecadotril combined with montmorillonite powder in treatment with infantile rotavirus enteritis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of racecadotril combined with montmorillonite powder in treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis.Methods:86 infants with rotavirus enteritis were divided into two groups randomly: 43 infants in control group were treated with montmorillonite powder,while 43 infants in observation group were treated with racecadotril combined with montmorillonite powder;the clinical efficacies,the antipyretic times,antidiarrheal times and total courses in the two groups were compared and observed.Results:The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05).The antipyretic time,antidiarrheal time and total course in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(P0.05).No apparent adverse reactions occurred in the course of treatment in the two groups.Conclusion:Racecadotril combined with montmorillonite powder can improve clinical curative effect,shorten antipyretic time,antidiarrheal time and total treatment time in treatment of infantile rotavirus enteritis,the method is a safe and effective therapy with less adverse reactions.
