摘要
Objective:To investigate STAT3,EGF and EGFR mRNA in oral squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods:Using in situ hybridization,STAT3,EGF and EGFR gene expression were detected in 60 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma,30cases of atypical hyperplasia and 60cases of normal oral mucosa. The results were statistically analysed in conjunction with the pathological grade, lymph node transferation of clinical indicators. Results:The expression of STAT3,EGF,and EGFR in the normal mucosa, dysplasia and carcinoma rates were getting higher gradually, which were 25.0%(15/60),40.0%(12/30),68.3%(41/60)and 33.3%(20/60),43.3%(13/30),80.0%(48/60)and 18.3%(11/60),46.7%(14/30),75.0%(45/60)respectively,showing a significant difference(P0.05).In oral squamous cell carcinoma tissue, the STAT3,EGF and EGFR expression were closely related with the histological grade, depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis(P0.05).The STAT3,EGF and EGFR gene expression in oral squamous cell carcinoma had correlated with each other.Conclusion:STAT3,EGF,and EGFR mRNA may be of great important in oral cancer invasion and metastasis and mucosal epithelial carcinogenesis.STAT3,EGF,and EGFR mRNA are expected to be one of the objective indicators of the diagnosis and prognosis of early oral squamous cell carcinoma.
