Analysis on cervical human papillomavirus infection of women in Yongkang

Objective:To understand the infection status of human papillomavirus(HPV) of the women in urban areas and rural areas of Yongkang city and the distribution of HPV infection among the population. Methods:Clustering stratified sampling method was used in the study,the married women in 10 villages of 10 communities in Yongkang city received cervical cancer screening from April 2007 to May 2008,after informed consent,the study objects were surveyed by epidemiological questionnaires,at the same time,the cervical exfoliative cells of study objects were collected for liquid-based cytological detection,PCR in situ hybridization was used for detection of 23 subtypes of HPV. Results:1 050 women were included in the study,the positive detection rates of high risk HPV and low risk HPV were 24.9% and 9.2%,respectively.Among the positive population with high risk HPV,the percents of HPV16,HPV33 and HPV58 were 53.3%,14.9% and 14.6%,respectively.The detection rates of high risk HPV among different age groups were 28.5%(25~34 years old),20.0%(35~44 years old) and 30.6%(45~59 years old),respectively.The detection rates of low risk HPV among different age groups were 13.2%(25~34 years old),5.3%(35~44 years old) and 8.3%(45~59 years old),respectively. Conclusion:HPV16,HPV33 and HPV58 are three most common high-risk HPV subtypes,the women aged 45~59 years old has high infection rate of high risk HPV,and the women aged 25~34 years old has high infection rate of low risk HPV.
