Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of HS-PTX on HSP70 expression in hemorrhagic shock induced lung injuries in rats. Methods Fifty Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into five groups:sham operational group (Sham), shock group (Shock), Ringer's lactated group (RL), hypertonic saline group (HS) and HS-PTX group. Sprague-Dawley rats were bled to a mean arterial pressure of 35 mm Hg~45 mm Hg for one hour. After shock, fluid resuscitation was operated with RL, HS and HS-PTX, respectively. Shed blood were infused after fluid resuscitation. Twenty-four hours after resuscitation, kill the rat the left lung was taken to test the level of TNF-α and IL-6 by ELISA. The right lung was taken to test the level of HSP70 by immunohistochemical. Results The level of TNF-α and IL-6 in the left lung by HS-PTX were lower than Shock group, HS group and RL group (P 0.05), however, higher than Sham group. Positive expression of HSP70 in the right lung of HS-PTX group were lower than Shock group,HS group and RL group (P 0.05). Conclusions HS-PTX protects the lung after hemorrhagic shock by increasing the level of HSP70.
