Abstract
Objective To analyze the systemic damage and therapeutic effect of paraneoplastic pemphigus associated with Castleman disease.Methods The data of 3 cases of paraneoplastic pemphigus associated with Castleman disease were retrospectively reviewed.Results The three cases all had respiratory,digestive,and nervous lesions,in addition to skin and mucous membrane lesions.After the castleman tumors were removed,the skin lesions were improved but respiratory and digestive system deteriorated soon.Conclusion Paraneoplastic pemphigus in associated with Castleman disease has various other systemic lesions in addition to skin lesion.These systemic disorders can deteriorate soon after resection of Castleman tumor while skin lesions are improved.
